Greetings, Gale is now hosting a site with some specific supporting materials for MeL at: http://galesupport.com/mel/. In particular, the ability to customize promotional materials to support Gale products is right on the site. You can add things like your own library's website, QR code and graphic, and then have materials with those customizations such as posters, bookmarks and tent cards printed and sent to your library. This is Gale ProMo that you may already be familiar with and the log-in information is right on the screen. Also available on this site are the direct URLs to all of the MeL databases should MeL and/or MCLS be experiencing down time and you need access to individual databases. Please note that the Gale list of MeL resources is also a very neat and tidy listing of all the MeL databases broken down by vendor in a way that makes it very simple to confirm that you have all of your sTudLYCAps in place for naming these resources on your own site as well as simply learning which products are from where. In addition, all of the database graphics are available on the site in two sizes. You can save the icons over onto your own server space, or Gale provides a link from where they are hosting the icon (along with alt text) that you can simply pick up from clicking on "Icons" in the global navigation bar at the top of the website.
