Strengthening Communities Through Libraries STEAM Minigrants ALSC has received a $124,528 Youth Literacy grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation to help libraries provide out-of-school time STEAM learning for children. ALSC will award fourteen $5,000 Strengthening Communities Through Libraries minigrants to ALSC personal members in public libraries whose libraries are within 20 miles of a Dollar General corporate or retail location. In addition to minigrants, ALSC will also develop supplemental resources that will be made widely available to support the out-of-school time programming of libraries and their community partners.
