free online astronomy program (plus in-person option)

The return of DPL's astronomy program, after too long an absence. Professor Nicolle Zellner reviews the history of the first cohort of U.S. female astronaut trainees—the 'Mercury 13'. They underwent the same physical and psychological testing as NASA astronauts to see if they, too, had "the right stuff." As usual, we will be on Zoom, but Dr. Zellner will be presenting from the Knapp Branch. Directions are in the Eventbrite posting.
