Hello everyone, We are currently reviewing our Library Building Insurance policy which is up for renewal. We currently are using Municipal Underwriters of Michigan. Our annual premium as almost doubled because they have stated "Due to higher losses on smaller sized accounts state wide, the insurance company has instituted a $5000 minimum premium on all accounts". that the underwriters have reviewed the economy, inflation, etc. and had to make an across the board increase for all policy holders. Can you please share who you use and if you are satisfied with your insurance companies? Also, has this become an issue for your library as well. Sincerely, Michelle Guerra, Librarian Betsie Valley District Library 231-378-2716
