All, The governors of Pennsylvania and Ohio have issued orders for "non-essential" businesses to close. Since Brodart (Pennsylvania) and Midwest Tape (Ohio) each have a single location/warehouse, the result is that neither will be shipping product for the time being. As libraries in Michigan are closed this is not a bad thing, anyway. Baker and Taylor and Ingram have multiple warehouses so as far as I am aware, it is business as usual for both of them. The digital products for these and other vendors, Brodart being the exception since they don't have a digital product, remain open for business. And I suspect they are doing very good business. I can tell you that last week at TLN, and yesterday and today from our dining room table, I have processed dozens of "can we start our new RBdigital service(s) on April 1 instead of May 1?" requests from libraries. It is good to see such dedication to patron service out there! And yes, I can and will continue to process your requests for an early start to same. Take care, Jim F.
