Topics covered include fixing the basics errors found in almost every collection, creating new metadata from existing data, and exporting data to enable importing in to your collection software. In a series of short exercises, participants will learn tools, concepts, and methods to review, organize and clean up common metadata challenges when organizations need to make system-wide or targeted revisions to their collection data. Participants will need to bring a laptop.
