free Zoom program: Role of Detroit's Mayor

This program is obviously more Detroit-specific than most of our programs in partnership with the Detroit League of Women Voters. In the lead up to November's election, learn about the role of mayor in Detroit, to help in evaluating candidates. Eric Lupher, president of Citizens Research Council of Michigan, will present competencies to consider in voting in this year's mayoral election. This had been originally planned as a hybrid program, but we will have to present online only due to a scheduling conflict. Tuesday, September 9, 2025 6:00-7:30 p.m. Please register on Eventbrite: https://dpl-detroit-mayor-role.eventbrite.com If you would like a jpg or pdf of the flyer, please let me know. This is another of DPL's programs in partnership with the Detroit League of Women Voters, promoting voter education and tools for action. It will be available on the League of Women Voters subchannel of DPL's YouTube channel later.
