August 1. www.michigan.gov/libraryofmichigan<http://www.michigan.gov/libraryofmichigan> or https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MIWWI A little extra about the speakers: Matthew Jaber Stiffler is the Researcher at the Arab American National Museum in Dearborn, MI, where he oversees the development of the archives and library as well as leads a W. K. Kellogg Foundation-funded community engagement project. His dissertation, "Authentic Arabs, Authentic Christians: Antiochian Orthodox and the Mobilization of Cultural Identity" explores the relationship between religious, cultural, and political identities of Arab Americans. He is the author of "Orthodox, Arab, American: The Flexibility of Christian Arabness in Detroit," in Arab Detroit 9/11: Life in the Terror Decade (Wayne State University Press, 2011), among other publications. Matthew earned his Ph.D. in American Culture and Arab American Studies from University of Michigan in 2010. Lindsay Robillard graduated from Michigan State University's James Madison College of Public Affairs in 2008 with a degree in International Relations and Social Relations and Policy. In 2010 she finished her MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Chicago with a thesis titled Bridging Africa and Europe: the Role of Immigration in Libyan Foreign Policy. She has worked at the AANM since January 2011, overseeing youth arts programming, coordinating educational activities, and managing various public programs.
