Thank you, Jen *AVAILABLE POSITION:* Part-time Library Assistant – Marketing & Outreach *WORK SCHEDULE: * 20 hours per week; must be available to work evening and weekend hours *PAY RATE:* Starting wage is $13.58 per hour; benefits include paid time off, paid holidays *JOB SUMMARY:* A Library Assistant’s primary responsibility is to provide circulation services and technical support. They assist patrons with the use of the library’s online catalog and other electronic resources. Additionally, this position will assist staff librarians with the creation of a variety of marketing materials and assist with programming and outreach events within the Adrian community. Ability to speak Spanish highly preferred. Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; familiarity with desktop publishing software a plus. The position requires a commitment to customer service excellence, including excellent oral and written communication skills. The successful candidate must have the ability to accurately maintain record keeping and maintain attention to detail.
