POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: The Schultz-Holmes Memorial Library seeks a highly motivated and enthusiastic Youth Services Coordinator. Average 25 hours a week on a variable schedule including some evenings and Saturdays. $11/hour. Schedule flexibility required. High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred. Prior experience working with children required. Experience in early childhood education and early literacy development preferred. The successful candidate will remain informed of and implement current best practices for early literacy development. General office experience including computer use preferred. Duties include planning and executing weekly StoryTimes, Summer Reading Programs, additional programming and promotional activity, as well as performing front desk and collection processing duties.
