Hello all, Looking for your next great read? A new feature in the MeL database Books & Authors<http://www.galesupport.com/migeoipcheck/migeoipcheck-gale.php?database=BNA> is both fun and informative when it comes to finding a good book. WHO WHAT WHERE WHEN lets you browse by selecting any 3 from choices under Character, Subject, Location, and Time Period. Type or choose from a drop down menu and watch as the database responds with a visual representation of your search terms. Hundreds of characters (WHO), activities (WHAT), locations (WHERE), and Time Periods (WHEN) can be combined to reveal titles that fit the selected criteria. Combining Alternative Worlds (WHAT), with Michigan (WHERE), and 21st Century AD (WHEN), I find there is a title that matches all 3 criteria! (who would have guessed!) A bonus to this useful search is that the results link to MeLCat<http://mel.org/melcat> so staff and patrons can check availability of their newly discovered treasures.
