If leading an innovative team of seven librarians, overseeing collection development, and designing engaging programming for teens and adults is your passion, then this is the position for you. This person is responsible for hiring, supervising, training, and evaluating adult and teen librarians and other departmental staff at the library. This person works at public service points, sets long-term goals for departmental services, and generates benchmark solutions for reaching goals as a team. The Rochester Hills Public Library is located in downtown Rochester, MI, and is part of The Library Network (TLN) and Metro Net Consortium, and we utilize the Leap/Vega software as our computer system.
