Hello, We weeded out our James Patterson collection and now have a freestanding, double sided bookshelf up for grabs. Everything you need, comes with. Unfortunately I didn't take a proper photo before disassembling this, so I only have a security camera screenshot of the complete shelf. Everything is pretty compact taken apart, aside from the top piece (which is two parts). There are six columns on each side, and 18 shelves per side so 36 total shelves. You can adjust the shelves as well. If you have a cardigan on, you are granted the strength to assemble it on your own! It is roughly 2' W x 20' L x 3.5' H In all actuality, we are getting carpet replaced, so between April 23 - May 1 we would be happy to help someone at least load items up if they were interested! I couldn't help myself. Here's how many J Patterson books that shelf can hold, with much math assistance from Copilot 😂 Jane M Lynch (she/her) Library Assistant II - Marketing, Outreach, & Programming jlynch@escanabalibrary.org (906)789-7323 "Whatever the cost of our libraries, the price is cheap compared to that of an ignorant nation." -Walter Cronkite ________________________________ From: Library Director via Michlib-l <michlib-l@liblists.org> Sent: Monday, April 20, 2026 4:46 PM To: michlib-l@liblists.org <michlib-l@liblists.org> Subject: [Michlib-l] Free bookshelf ! ARGH!!!! 🤣 Any librarian who know me know of my frustration with the endless production of Patterson books! Thank you for making me giggle a little this morning and for having the bravery to just get rid of some of them!
