Hello All, Thank you to everyone who responded with information about the location of your parenting section! All in all, 2/3 respondents currently have a parenting section in their youth departments. I did receive a number of responses from libraries considering moving or that had recently moved their collections to/from their youth departments. The breakdown is below. 16 responses total. Parenting in the Children’s Dept.: 12 Of these 12 libraries, 3 are considering moving the collection from children’s to adult nonfiction and 4 have recently moved the collection from adult nonfiction to children’s. Parenting in Adult nonfiction: 4 Of these 4 libraries, 3 moved the collection from children’s to adult and 1 is considering moving the collection from adult to children’s.
