The Alma Public Library is currently seeking a Cataloger/Technical Services Librarian. Under the supervision of the Library Director, the Cataloger receives, classifies, and catalogs various library materials, oversees the work of Library Aides assisting with cataloging functions, performs routine bibliographic database maintenance, assists with acquisitions, processes and maintains periodical collections, performs circulation duties and assists patrons, contributes to Library programming initiatives, and maintenance of web presence. Associate's or bachelor's degree in library science or related field will be considered. A master's degree with experience is preferred. This is either a full- or part-time position. The starting wage is $16.21 - $19.46, depending on qualifications. The City offers a competitive benefits package. The deadline to apply is June 23rd at 5pm.
