The Library of Michigan (LM) has a Library Science collection for the Michigan library community. It includes materials for public, academic and school libraries. LM has continued purchasing professional development titles this year and now has more ways for you to access the materials you need! LM's Library Science content can be found in three places: 1. In print in our Library Science collection here at the Library of Michigan. * You can check our New Library Science Collection titles at https://www.michigan.gov/libraryofmichigan/libraries/libsci. Click on the ANSWER catalog link and use "Library Science Collection" as one of the search terms in the Advanced Search - Notes field and you will pull only the library science collection titles. * We are BACK on MeLCat so you can search MeLCat for LM titles you have identified and order them OR you can contact the LM circulation desk for an Interloan request as well. 2. Gale eBooks on MeL! - Anyone can use the Gale eBooks collection on MeL. We've added 95 current library science titles to the collection from ALA and Libraries Unlimited. * Go to MeL.org, select eResources then the eResources by letter G. Under G you'll see Gale eBooks with subjects linked on the left nav bar. 3. LM's eBook Central Collection - If you have an LM library card, you can use our ProQuest eBook Central collection. You can request a card at Michigan.gov/librarycard. * Go directly to eBook Central collection at the Michigan.gov/LMdatabases page or search in ANSWER as the ProQuest titles show there as well.
