The Delta Township Manager's Office is accepting applications for the following part-time position at the Delta Township District Library, 5130 Davenport Road in Lansing, Michigan. YOUTH SERVICES ASSISTANT Performs a variety of services to young patrons and families in the Youth Services department, including planning and presenting programming; providing informational, readers’ advisory, and technology assistance to patrons; and performing routine library and clerical tasks. Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree. Flexibility in scheduling including the ability to regularly work evenings and weekends is required. Experience working with children and a high degree of comfort using computers and searching the Internet is required. A minimum of six months library experience and knowledge and appreciation of youth and teen materials and culture is desired.
