Willard Library in Battle Creek will present “An Evening with Victoria Christopher Murray” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, at the Binda Performing Arts Center at Kellogg Community College, 450 North Ave., Battle Creek. Murray, one of the nation's top African-American contemporary authors with more than a million books sold, will talk about stepping outside of the box and following your dreams. She has written dozens of adult and young adult books, and several have been optioned for films. Her books will be for sale at the program, and afterward, she will be signing them.
