In this 90-minute webinar, Jen will: * Share basic early childhood brain science to help you make the connection between Storytime activities and your young patron's growing brains. * Review the Ready to Read Five Practices and give participants a plethora of program ideas for each of the five practices to use right away. * Introduce a Template that will help you include the five practices in your Storytime plans. * Discuss our role as Language and Literacy Mentors for parents and caregivers. * Present ideas for collaborating with Community Partners for Storytime along with ways to share resources that will help families with young children.
