Input on security gate procedures

Good afternoon everyone, I’m looking for some input on policies that you may have to assist in dealing with patrons who set off security gates. What procedures do you follow when a patron sets off the security alarm and doesn’t have a book bag, purse or backpack? What general security procedures do you have set? At what point do you contact law enforcement for assistance? Any information you are willing to share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advanced! Sheila Sheila M.
