Author Loren Estleman to visit the Tecumseh District Library

Members, Mystery and Western author Loren Estleman will visit the Tecumseh District Library on Friday,April 25th at 7p.m. He has written nearly 70 books and received 20 national writing awards. In 1997, the Michigan Library Association named him the recipient of the Michigan Author’s Award. In 2007, his novel Nicotine Kisswas named a Notable Book by the Library of Michigan. Estleman is most famous for his novels about Private Investigator Amos Walker. Other series center on Old West Marshal Page Murdock and hitman Peter Macklin. He has also written a series of novels about the history of crime in Detroit. He’s written stories featuring Sherlock Holmes as well as contributed to several books on how to write and sell stories and novels. Estleman has been called one of the most critically acclaimed authors of his generation. He has been nominated for the National Book Award and the Mystery Writers of America Edgar Allen Poe Award. This event is free and open to the public. There will be books for sale at the event and an autograph session to follow. The Library is located at 215 North Ottawa Street, Tecumseh, MI 49286.
