Hi, Is there a music database on MEL? I can't find one. Thanks! Lisa Sutton Roscommon Area District Library 106 Lake St., P.O. Box 888 Roscommon, MI 48653 989-281-1305

SIRS Renaissance includes "Music", but I haven't used it much to see how extensive it is. I tend to use education databases for my own music education research. I don't get many music questions in my current positions. Susan On Jun 4, 2015 12:20 PM, Lisa Sutton <lisasutton27@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi Lisa, Great question. At this time there is no database in MeL for listening to music. However, recordings can be found and borrowed in MeLCat covering many subjects and time periods. Do a Discovery Service Search from the MeL homepage for music and use the Refinement options to narrow your search. Eunice Eunice C.
