My colleague Dr. Mega Subramaniam from the University of Maryland and I are conducting an IMLS-funded project called ConnectedLib to develop a professional development toolkit to help youth services librarians design engaging programs for their young patrons. We would be very grateful if you would be willing to forward this information to the teen or youth services librarian groups in your state. We are looking for librarians to participate in 45-minute interviews to discuss the needs of their youth patrons, their current programming, and their use of technology. For more information on the project, visit http://connectedlib.ischool.uw.edu<http://connectedlib.ischool.uw.edu/>. To sign up for an interview, visit http://go.umd.edu/connectedlibinterview.
