The networking and collaboration portion allows for conversations among a region's historical organizations, and the speaker will offer further insights on a topic of concern or opportunity. To further the educational experience of the Alliance meetings, a separate three-hour History Skills Workshop will be offered in the afternoon. Taught by authorities in the field, the History Skills Workshops provide in-depth training on such topics as exhibit design, collections management, fundraising and websites.
