Sean Madigan Hoen, author of Songs Only You Know: A Memoir, is an award-winning writer and recording artist. Hoen traces a decade of his life in the Detroit hardcore punk scene, during which his father succumbed to a crack addiction, his sister became fatally depressed and the author redefined his sense of family.
