Champion lost her courageous battle with cancer on April 2, 2017. She was 64 years old. Linda's entire career was spent at the Macomb County Library, working in a number of different positions. She was most proud of being director of the Macomb Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped from 1989 to 2000.
