RUSA John Sessions Memorial Award Time is running out to nominate yourself (or someone else!) for the 2025 John Sessions Memorial Award! The Sessions award recognizes a library or library system which has made a significant effort to work with the labor community and by doing so has brought recognition to the history and contribution of the labor movement to the development of the United States. The Sessions award is administered by the American Library Association's (ALA's) Reference and User Services Association (RUSA) and is sponsored by the Department for Professional Employees of the AFL-CIO, a coalition of unions including the American Federation of Teachers, the International Association of Firefighters, the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, United Steelworkers and more.
