Internet Content Filtering Contracts Finalized

The Technology Readiness Infrastructure Grant (TRIG) is pleased to announce a statewide internet content filtering purchasing opportunity for Michigan schools and libraries. This opportunity is being made available as part of the Data Services Collaborative Activity of TRIG and is being led by the Greater Michigan Educational Consortium (GMEC) in partnership with REMCAM. As the result of their responses to an Invitation to Bid, two vendors, iboss and Lightspeed, have been awarded statewide contracts for Michigan. Details on the pricing and a contract overview for both awarded vendors can be found on the TRIG website at http://22itrig.org/activities/data-service-collaborative/statewide-internet-.... Click on Vendor Comparison or FAQs on the right menu for more information. Purchases must be made by uploading purchase orders in SPOT. For questions not answered in the FAQs, email purchaseorder@remc.org<mailto:purchaseorder@remc.org>. -- Karen Hairston Project Manager - Device Purchasing Technology Readiness Infrastructure Grant Office 517.927.1982<tel:517.927.1982> Skype khairston/517.455.7654<tel:517.455.7654> http://22itrig.org/ [http://22itrig.org/downloads/_acct_/00/00/00/37/trig_logo_20131125_162210_1....] When you stop chasing the wrong things, you give the right things a chance to catch you!
