Muskegon Community College (MCC) is seeking a Library Technician. Under the supervision of a librarian, this position procures, organizes, classifies, indexes, and digitizes the MCC Archive and verifies physical processing of materials entering the collection; verifies data integrity of records in the library online catalog; updates, purges, and creates reports for all materials using the online library system. This position also manages the Information Commons in the absence of the Commons’ Supervisor. This involves using the student photo ID system and providing assistance to students and visitors. This position also manages and produces library publicity using the MCC Web and social media sources.
