Ransom District Library recently held The Legacy and Memory of Emmett Louis Till, presented by Jim Herm which I would recommend. Jim shared his in-depth research into the murder of Emmett, the post-civil war south, the legacy of Emmett Till, and the start of the Civil Rights movement. He is a resident of Otsego and retired Portage Public School history teacher. If you are interested in hosting him his email is jimherm@hotmail.com<mailto:jimherm@hotmail.com>.
