ICMYI: Episode 1: Incivility and Microaggressions In the first session of the series, Dr. Michelle Kaminski introduced how incivility and microaggressions are recognized as forms of mistreatment that are less severe than bullying or physical violence. They are also more common, and when people experience them on a regular basis, they have a cumulative harmful impact. She talked about things that individuals can do in response and what leaders can do to prevent them from happening in the future.
