Whole Person Librarianship Libraries and Social Workers in Collaboration Workshop Friday, July 13, 2018 9:00am - 4:00pm at Niles District Library We will explore systems theory, cultural humility, and reflective supervision as they apply to library practice. Presenter, Sara Zettervall, was a 2014 ALA Emerging Leader and is on the forefront of research into collaborative service. She will provide context, and participants will have ample time to apply these concepts to examples from their own libraries and engage in guided small- and large-group conversations. Participants will come away from the session with new approaches to public service, guided by proven social work methods. Lunch will be served.
