For many of us, low-cost projects are key to the long-term health and sustainability of making in our schools, libraries, and communities. In this edition of Maker Office Hours, we’ll share some of our favorite dollar-or-less open-ended makery projects, then open up the conversation so you can share yours! *Save the Date for Free, Statewide Maker Workshops This Summer!*

We are delighted to have set dates for our Making in Michigan Librariesprofessional development for Summer 2016 <http://imlsmaking.sites.uofmhosting.net/road-trip/>. We have nine hub locations and are offering a face-to-face, three-day workshop at each. So far, we've just got the dates penned, because the next step is for us to co-create a custom agenda for each community that features local makers. Workshops will be *free*, and SCECHs will be available at a small cost. So save the date and stay tuned!
