Good afternoon, I would like to recommend two programs: The first is a presentation called "Bone Wars: Paleontology's Biggest Rivalry" which was presented by Elizabeth Stack and Steven Bellettini who also run the YouTube channel "Your Dinosaurs Are Wrong." https://yourdinosaursarewrong.com. Both Elizabeth and Steven are very passionate about dinosaurs and the world and history of paleontology. Presenting to libraries is new to Elizabeth and Steven but I found them engaging and knowledgeable in the way that they presented on this historical feud. They were also willing to collaborate with me on a topic that would appeal to adults rather than their usual dinosaur education programs--which also sound fascinating and I think could be interesting for many different types of audiences! If you are looking for a new history program or something a little different to bring to your library they would be worth it to look into. I would also like to recommend Julianne Ankley for a music program. Julianne is very talented and our patrons greatly enjoyed her music (genre: Americana Rock) and left the evening smiling; she also made a playlist for Spotify of the songs that she sang that evening so attendees could access them again. She weaves in her biography as well as background on how each song was written between songs, brought her own speaker and set up, and was very easy to work with.
