"The House Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions are preparing to reach an agreement on the reauthorization of Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). The provisions included in ESEA through the Every Child Achieves Act would support effective school library programs and we need your help to ensure that they are included. ESEA reauthorization replaces No Child Left Behind and it's really now or never (or a very long time) to have strong school libraries included.
