Do any libraries have rats or other small, caged mammals as library pets? I am looking for any advice and tips you have regarding care, procedures, budget, etc. Some specific questions I have: 1. What procedures do you have regarding cage cleaning, animal care, vet visits, etc. 2. Do you budget for the cost of care or do you use donations? 3. What feedback have you received from patrons? Particularly what complaints (if any) have you received?
