Michigan is hosting the annual conference of the National Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators (NAGARA) in July 2016 in Lansing. This conference will provide great educational opportunities for public librarians. Please join NAGARA in Lansing, Michigan in July 2016 for the annual conference where we will be "on the trail of information." The conference will be held in downtown Lansing at the Radisson Hotel at the Capitol from July 13-16th. NAGARA is a professional association dedicated to the effective use and management of federal, state, and local government records and information in all formats. NAGARA champions good management of government archives and records programs for the benefit of government and its citizens. Managing government records and information today is a demanding challenge that requires skill, dedication, and an understanding of management techniques and technology and a capacity to adopt new techniques to meet changing issues and needs.
