MI College Goal Sunday

Hi Fellow Librarians, Every year, minority, low income, and/or first generation college students lose money for college because they do not complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1. College-bound students and their families will find completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) a breeze with hundreds of helpful volunteers at nearly 40 MI College Goal sites statewide in February. You can help students get thousands of dollars for college. Here’s how: Link us to your website. Order your materials on-line! Publicize the Event! Hang posters prominently throughout the building. Give flyers to each senior and their parents. Spread the word at assemblies, through student services, in newsletters, and announcements. Since its inception, thousands of students in Michigan have received help in completing their FAFSA financial aid form on time – FOR FREE. If you are a student or a parent, you need information on how to obtain financial aid for college. At MI College Goal you can: Get free on-site professional assistance filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.
