Thanks, Cindy. That NPR article is really what got me revisiting this idea. On Mon, Jan 4, 2016 at 12:46 PM, Stanczak, Cindy < cstanczak@albionlibrary.org> wrote:
We've been considering it, too, and discussed it at our last library co-op meeting. This made NPR this past week, too, so it hit ALA Think Tank (Facebook). I think it's a great idea and a powerful grant proposal, especially if neighboring rural libraries apply together.

Hello,
I'm wondering if any Michigan libraries participate in mobile hot spot lending programs, and if anyone is aware of grant opportunities for such programs. Any and all information about your hot spot lending programs would be helpful!
Thank you,
Dillon

Hello We are going live February 1. Currently we are going with T-Mobile as it more fits our objectives with the program. Sprint also offers hotspot lending, but doesn't fit our coverage model/pricing. We will see how it works out, but so far the units function well. We are still working out the policies, filtering, etc, when we have more information I will send it out. Thanks MPM On Tue, Jan 5, 2016 at 9:20 AM, Dillon Geshel <dgeshel@pldl.org> wrote:
