As a result of the COVID-19 virus Michigan's libraries will be closed "as soon as possible, but no later than 3:00 PM on March 16 and continuing until March 30 at 11:59 PM." I've just started a discussion thread on this, too, Jessica. The order states "Places of public accommodation subject to this section are encouraged to offer food and beverage using delivery service, window service, walk-up service, drive-through service, or drive-up service, and to use precautions in doing so to mitigate the potential transmission of COVID-19, including social distancing." Hi Randy - can we get clarification on whether curbside service is permitted? Our building is closed to the public, but we have set up an exchange station and are allowing patrons to pick up materials on hold.
