Paw Paw District Library PUBLIC POSTING The Paw Paw District Library is looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Youth Services Librarian to join our team! POSITION: YOUTH SERVICES LIBRARIAN HOURS: 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends SALARY: $15-$17 per hour DOQ, with a generous benefits package DUTIES: Plans, promotes, and presents youth programs Assists in the development and maintenance of youth collections Creates activities to promote young people's use of the library Provides reference and customer services to all ages Develops positive relationships with community groups and schools Works collaboratively to carry out the daily operations of the library QUALIFICATIONS: Successful experience working with youth Knowledge of library principles and practices Bachelor's degree, Masters in Library Science preferred Strong communication and technology skills Knowledge of children's literature Previous public library experience preferred APPLICATION: Submit resume and cover letter to Gretchen Evans, Director at <mailto:gretchen@pawpaw.lib.mi.us> gretchen@pawpaw.lib.mi.us.
