The Oakland University Libraries in Rochester, MI seek a senior technology professional for direct oversight of Library Technology Services. Library Technology Services includes the Library Technology Helpdesk, Library technology learning environments, systems for major applications, computer support services, all Library servers, and an internship program. The Manager of Library Technology Services plans, directs, and supervises the activities of technology staff (3 FTE; 15+ students) in the following areas: technology project management, technical support, quality assurance, documentation, and technical training. Minimum requirements: o Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. o Three to five years of technology-related experience, including managing and maintaining computer hardware, software, and related equipment. o Budget preparation and project management experience. o Experience in a supervisory or management role. o Excellent organizational and analytical skills. o Excellent oral and written communication skills. o Ability to communicate effectively with others.
