Re: [Michlib-l] Win Funding for Your Library Project

MLA is hosting a new event during 2016 annual conference, Library SOUP. This is a micro grant funding project that can secure money for innovative projects your library might not be able to afford. Think of it as a go-fund-me project where your peers will vote for the winning project idea. Library SOUP is an opportunity to win funding for your library project. Don't miss your chance to submit a proposal. Submissions will be accepted through June 10. For more information or to submit a proposal: http://www.milibraries.org/prof-development-networking/annual-conference/lib... Library SOUP is based on the model of Detroit SOUP and we are pleased to welcome Executive Director Amy Kaherl of Detroit SOUP as one of our MLA 2016 keynote speakers this year. If you have any questions, please contact Kristy Doak at 517-394-2774 or kdoak@milibraries.org. -----Original Message----- From: michlib-l-bounces@mcls.org [mailto:michlib-l-bounces@mcls.org] On Behalf Of michlib-l-request@mcls.org Sent: Monday, June 06, 2016 12:00 PM To: michlib-l@mcls.org Subject: Michlib-l Digest, Vol 20, Issue 5 Send Michlib-l mailing list submissions to michlib-l@mcls.org To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://mail2.mcls.org/mailman/listinfo/michlib-l or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to michlib-l-request@mcls.org You can reach the person managing the list at michlib-l-owner@mcls.org When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of Michlib-l digest..." The new system allows us to set up family groupings so that staff can be notified automatically if someone else in the family owes money or has overdue materials. * Does anyone have a policy on how they are using a similar feature? * Do you have a form or release which you require the adults to sign in regard to the Michigan Privacy Act? * Do you require problems to be resolved if spouses have agreed to release information to their husband/wife but have separate cards. This is information we have not been able to keep in the past so any help would be appreciated. -- Margaret Bentley Adult Services Librarian Shiawassee District Library--Owosso 502 W.
