Please help us spread the word about this event for teens and adults: Five authors of young adult books will visit Stair Public Library in Morenci on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. The event, Author Afternoon, is planned by the Stair Teen Book Club and advisor Sally Kruger. Adults are also welcome to attend. The authors will each speak about their path to publication and perform 90-second readings from their latest books. The readings will be followed by a question and answer session and a book signing. The event gives readers an opportunity to meet and mingle with authors Bethany Neal, Lara Zielin, Merrie Haskell, Carrie Harris and K. A. Barson. A representative from the Maumee Barnes and Noble bookstore will be on hand selling copies of the authors' books and a wide variety of free refreshments will be served.
