*Northland Library Cooperative Director * Are you a fun, organized, library loving individual? Do you consider yourself innovative and a self-starter? Do you have extensive leadership experience in public libraries? If the answer is yes, then the Northland Library Board of Trustees wants you! The Northland Library Cooperative Board of Trustees are seeking a dynamic part-time director to lead their network of rural public libraries into the future. The Northland Library Cooperative is one of eleven library cooperatives in the state of Michigan and has 24 member libraries in fourteen counties in the upper and northern lower peninsula of Michigan. *Responsibilities:* The Director position requires excellent communication skills, a broad understanding of public libraries, extensive experience in management, a demonstrated ability to advise and lead, a will to serve others, and a creative nature that welcomes innovation. This is a part-time contract position with an average of 20 hours/week. The schedule is flexible and based on NLC member needs and thus may require some evenings and weekends.
