We do a combination. Western, SciFi/Fantasy, Paranormal/Supernatural, Large Print and Christian Fiction are in their own spaces. The rest are shelved together by author, but we have spine labels to indicate Mystery, Cozy Mystery, Historical and Horror. We have genre labels (fantasy, graphic novel, inspirational, mystery, science fiction, short stories, urban fiction, and western); however, we shelve by author.
