Hi - We're looking at buying a new printer soon, but would like to know how other libraries are handling credit card payments for printing. Currently we use Cybrarian for printing, which does not seem to have an on screen credit card payment option, then either accept cash payment or GovPay card swipe at the main desk upon print job release. An on screen option for patrons who'd like to pay for their prints with a card prior to printing would be ideal, but we've also considered a printer that takes card payments, or one that works with a program where money is loaded onto a patron's library card (not something we're comfortable with).
