The DeWitt District Library received 500 pairs of glasses. We are not anticipating using all of them. We are offering 250 pairs to any library that would like them. She said she still has solar eclipse glasses available and if you wanted a quantity smaller than 1,000 she may be able to ship those to you now. You can email her directly with an order (100+ please) at aholland@spacescience.org. If she runs out of shipping materials, she may have to continue to send out 1,000, so consider partnering with a library in your cooperative to share!

I got the impression there will be many of the public asking for these glasses come August and NASA will be directing folks to check with their local library.
