Hello Lovely Library Folks, You may have heard that our town has experienced some historic flooding. Our library is okay! But many of our patrons are struggling with damaged or lost homes. A patron came to us with a difficulty. She managed to save her collection of German language books but can't reabsorb them into her home with her new circumstances. She doesn't want to throw them away and they won't sell in our library booksale. Is there a library or language program out there that might be interested in a donation of books written in German? I don't have titles yet but the majority of the collection is mysteries or historical items. I would welcome any leads! Thank you!
