Library Director The Portage Lake District Library in Houghton, Michigan, is looking for an innovative, community-focused leader to serve as its next Library Director. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to lead a thriving district library that values lifelong learning, exceptional public service, and meaningful community connections. As Library Director, you'll provide strategic leadership while overseeing daily operations, staff development, budgeting, policy implementation, and long-range planning.
